MANDATORY IMIS MAINTENANCE RELEASE

enSYNC would like to advise you that your iMIS Credit Card PayFlow Pro Gateway Interface must be updated on each iMIS workstation by September 2009 if you would like to continue using any of the credit card processing functionality in iMIS.

In order to meet the September 2009 deadline, we need you to approve the mandatory release upgrade/update by signing the attached form and schedule the upgrade/update with enSYNC Customer Support.

What do you need to do?

1.) Select options and sign approval form (click here for attached form).

2.) Schedule the upgrade/update with enSYNC.

What if you don’t update?

The credit card processing in iMIS and online via e-series will no longer function.

What if you have the extender AutoDraft which uses the iMIS Credit Card PayFlow Pro Gateway Interface?

enSYNC has modified AutoDraft 2.9 and 4.15 to handle the new requirements for PayPal. If you are currently on AutoDraft 2.8 or below or on AutoDraft 2.9.017 and below then you’ll need to upgrade AutoDraft following the installation of your iMIS Client maintenance release. Please contact customersupport@ensync-corp.com for information about AutoDraft upgrades.

When was this change announced?

ASI released an announcement to all iMIS customers regarding the gateway interface change in 2008 (see below).

Product Update Installation Required- PayFlow Pro Payment Gateway Interface to Change

VeriSign and PayPal reached an agreement where PayPal acquired rights to and control of the PayFlow Pro payment gateway interface for processing credit card authorizations. PayPal has now announced that the PayFlow Pro V2 and V3 interfaces used by iMIS for credit card authorization will reach their end-of-life by September 2009. PayPal states that as of September 2009, all code and products using the V2 and V3 interfaces will no longer function. PayPal recommends that all merchants upgrade to code or products that use the current Payflow Pro V4 interface.

To help transition iMIS users, ASI has updated the iMIS product to use the current PayFlow Pro V4 interface. These updates are available in several Payflow Pro Maintenance releases: 10.6, 15.0.1, and 15.0.3 and can be downloaded from the ASI Product Release website (ASI Website > iMIS Product Portal > Get Product Releases). If you are using iMIS Client and iMIS e-Series, you will need to first update the Client version and then e-Series. Both versions must be upgraded for the PayFlow Pro V4 interface to be utilized.
