Product Update Installation Required-
PayFlow Pro Payment Gateway Interface to
Change
VeriSign
and PayPal reached an agreement where PayPal acquired rights
to and
control of the PayFlow Pro payment gateway interface for
processing
credit card authorizations. PayPal has now announced that the
PayFlow
Pro V2 and V3 interfaces used by iMIS for credit card
authorization
will reach their end-of-life by September
2009. PayPal states that as of September 2009, all code and products using
the V2
and V3 interfaces will no longer function. PayPal recommends
that all
merchants upgrade to code or products that use the current
Payflow
Pro V4 interface.
To help transition iMIS users, ASI has updated the
iMIS
product to use the current PayFlow Pro V4 interface. These
updates
are available in several Payflow Pro Maintenance releases:
10.6,
15.0.1, and 15.0.3 and can be downloaded from the ASI Product
Release
website (ASI Website > iMIS Product Portal > Get
Product Releases). If you are using iMIS Client and
iMIS
e-Series, you will need
to first
update the Client version and then e-Series.
Both versions must be upgraded for the PayFlow Pro V4
interface to be
utilized.
