Celebrating recognition awards

award-225This award recognizes those individuals, who through their passion, persistence, optimism, and grace under pressure, distinguish themselves in service to the iMIS community, represent the mission of NiUG International, and mirror the qualities of John Howarth’s character.

John Howarth

John Howarth, Northeast Regional Sales Manager for ASI and a long-time NiUG friend was the catalyst for NiUG’s growth. His foresight and dedication laid the foundation of the organization. Upon his death in 2006, NiUG’s Board of Directors established the John Howarth Memorial Award to honor his spirit and accomplishments.

Brisan Schramm, CAE

Brian Schramm, CAE, of the Society for Critical Care Medicine, was also a recipient of the award. mark-225Mark, president and co-founder of enSYNC, has exemplified this spirit for 20 years. As a frequent speaker at NiUG and long-time supporter of the NiUG conference, Mark has been a perennial force at the meetings and in the iMIS community. enSYNC has been a sponsor of NiUG events for many years.

enSYNC is a leader of innovation, adding to the iMIS body of knowledge and creating products and services that complement the use of iMIS in organizations around the world. But more than his product and development support, it is Mark’s enthusiasm and passion for the nonprofit mission that drives him and infuses his interactions with others working for associations.

He recently became a Certified Association Executive (CAE), one of the first in the sponsor community to achieve that credential. enSYNC has won numerous awards in the past for their customer service and software development work.
